Community garden in Colby is underway

LiveWell Northwest Kansas is excited to announce that a new community garden has been taking shape at Copleand Park in Colby. A partnership with Western Prairie Food, Farm and Community Alliance, unused land has generously been donated by the City of Colby for the project. The Alliance's goal is to make the garden a central place for healthy living and community engagement.

An information meeting was held at the park on the morning of Saturday, April 27, where people could visit with organizers Maureen Ostmeyer and Nolan Hull, ask questions and sign up for a plot.
