Nurturing Families AT LIVEWELL
LiveWell was awarded recognition as one of ten new Family Resource Centers across the state of Kansas in January 2023. Funds were received under the direction of Governor Laura Kelly from the Kansas Department for Children and Families, and partners have been established with Kansas Cares and Thrive Allen County to assist us with providing resources and support for northwest Kansas families and children. Now, we are able to serve the Kansas counties of Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Wallace, Logan, Gove and Trego.
LiveWell Northwest Kansas provides services and connects resources
for all northwest Kansas families. We provide bilingual support, meet families at home, serve childcare centers and preschools, and so much more.

Bilingual Community Health Worker Liz Merchan works to build economic and social resilience by fostering connections and developing local resources for families and children. She specializes in serving northwest Kansas' growing Latinx population and is eager to help.
