The annual County Health Rankings provide a snap-shot of the health of Kansas counties. The Rankings are made up of two summary scores: Health Factors which measure issues that can shape health outcomes; and Health Outcomes which measure disease and deaths.
The County Health Rankings and Roadmaps is a program funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to building a culture for improved health in Kansas, county by county. The reports are prepared by the Kansas Health Institute.
