Travis was hired in May 2018 following the retirement of the organizations former director of 32 years. Prior to his role as Executive Director of LiveWell, Travis served as State Director for the Kansas Health Foundation's Community Engagement Initiative. Additionally, he has over ten years of experience developing and leading large-scale community public health initiatives during his tenure with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

 

Currently, Travis also serves as an Adjunct Professor for Fort Hays State University where he is able to integrate real life work experience into his coursework.
