About The Event
 If you live in northwest Kasnas and are invested in or impacted by mental health, then please consider attending a 3-part  Regional Mental Health Forum taking place from 9 a.m. to noon at the American Legion Hall in Bird City. The first session will October 24 and subsequent meetings will be Dec. 5 and Jan. 7.Â
Purpose: Convene as a multisector regional group to better understand mental health issues in northwest Kansas and take actionable steps to address it.
Who Should Attend: School representatives, clergy, healthcare and mental health professionalsh, legal representatives, community members impacted personally mental health concerns.

Mental health, additction, incarceration, poverty, and trauma are discussed frequently, but no clear collaborative steps toward addressing the issues have been taken. Thus, we hope that by coming together, we can build a regional understanding of and a collaborative effort to truly bring change and help to northwest Kansas. Please consider attending all three sessions if you are interested in being a part of the movement.
