Network with other northwest Kansas food buyers and producers at this FREE informational gathering sponsored by the Western Prairie Food, Farm and Community Alliance (or Food Policy Council). This meeting is perfect for northwest Kansas growers and food producers who are interested in selling their fruits, vegetables, fresh-baked goods or meat to local restaurants, hospitals, senior centers, VFW or other entity. Pre-registration is requested at the link above.

During the meeting, you'll learn about the benefits and opportunities for selling local, learn about common challenges and how to overcome rules and restrictions, and you'll be invited to ask questions. This meeting will help you better understand your options and provide possible solutions.

Through this meeting, the Food Policy Council will:

  • Bring NWKS institutions together to talk about the barriers of having fresh, local produce available
  • Help you learn how to overcome barriers from trained experts
  • Bring together a diverse group of people who can count on one another to get answers and to share success

ARE YOU A FOOD BUYER? Please attend one of the two available Institutional Buyers Meetings, either in the morning or evening. RSVP Here.
