About The Event

2020 Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit The 2020 Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit is going virtual! July 27th – August 7th Speakers are confirmed and registration is now open for the Virtual 2020 Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit on July 27 – August 7th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm each weekday. Registration is free for anyone working or living in Douglas County and only $25 for those living and working outside of Douglas County.

Join us virtually each weekday from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm for the Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit to increase your knowledge of behavioral health prevention and engage in the process of improving your community.

This summit is a virtual interactive event that will include presentations on a variety of relevant behavioral health topics. The Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit is designed to guide participants through practical strategies while pursuing a plan for behavioral health prevention in their communities. Specific topics of focus will include opioid, marijuana, suicide, and vaping prevention, as well as mental health promotion and supporting youth and families, post COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Anyone with an interest in learning more about behavioral health prevention
Summit Accreditation: Continuing education credits will be available for the following: physicians, nurses, social workers, EMS, etc. General continuing education certificates of attendance with accredited hours will be provided to all participants.
